The Birth of Mountain Moving Engineering and Gigantic Cities

Hello, my name is Gideon Lee. I am the originator of Mountain Moving Engineering and Gigantic Cities. I graduated from the University of British Columbia on 2005, and obtained a Bachelor Degree of Applied Science there. Since 2005, I had been working for two Civil Engineering Consulting firms. These firms specialize in site preparation for housing projects in the Province of British Columbia of Canada. My engineering design works included: drainage control, placement of sanitary sewers and water-supply mains, and road design.

On August 2008, I left Canada to look for new business opportunities. I thank God that the basic concepts of Mountain Moving Engineering came into my mind in the middle of November 2008.

This basic concept came into my mind when I was on top of a small mountain in Athens, Greece. I thought if there are1.2 billion increase in population on our planet earth 20 years later, this 1.2 billion people will put tremendous land demands for housing, agriculture and recreational purposes. There is already a sign of land shortage in many parts of the world. For example, there are many commercial or residential high rises which are over 60 stories high in many densely-populated cities. The expensive prices of the residential units inside these high rises reflect the high demand of lands for housing purposes. Huge number of homeless people in many country simply revealed the serious housing shortage problem in our world today.

To solve the housing shortage problem, I thought: “can cities be built in the middle of the air? Or built under the ocean?” Finally, I perceived that if mountains can be removed at low cost, flat lands can be obtained at low cost, too.

I also thank God that I did figure out a technologically sound solution to remove mountains at low cost soon after I conceived the idea of Mountain Moving Engineering.

Because of Mountain Moving Engineering, not only cheap lands can be obtained, large quantities of raw materials can be obtained inexpensively, too. To utilize the large quantities of raw materials, I came up with an idea of building Gigantic Cities on flat lands.

I left Greece and traveled to Israel on March, 2009. I continued to get sound ideas on setting up the principles of how to build Gigantic Cities. Finally I finished the report of “Introduction to Mountain Moving Engineering and Gigantic Cities.” on May, 2009 in Nazareth, Israel.
